Trumpet, trombone, French horn, euphonium, baritone, and tuba each need knowledgeable guidance. OMS gives brass students access to specialists who understand both the instrument and the ensembles they hope to join.

Why begin here?
Brass students often arrive with an immediate goal: thrive in school band, earn a stronger chair placement, prepare for marching season, audition for All-State or an honor ensemble, or work toward a youth symphony. We build the fundamentals underneath those goals—breathing, embouchure, tone, range, articulation, reading, and musical confidence.
Our teachers are active professionals who specialize in these instruments and understand how local programs work. Close awareness of school expectations helps lessons support—not compete with—the student’s band director.

We present these findings carefully: music is valuable in itself, and every student develops differently.
